NOT a Christmas Home Tour....BUT a Gift From Heaven, and a Thank YOU!!

Okay, okay, I know I promised I'd have the home tour posted yesterday.  Well, I'm guessing since you're here, you know it was in fact NOT posted yesterday, nor was it posted today.  Will it ever be posted?  Not sure.  Right now, I'm finishing up some exciting projects.  Yesterday was my birthday and I received a special gift from Heaven and it's like super exciting, and I'm bursting at the seems to share it with all of you but I can't until next month.  It's such an honor and it means so much to me...(K....zip it up!!!!) ALSO, two of my projects are in the 12 Days of Projects TOP 12!  So, I've been on pins and needles all day waiting to see if I am "the chosen one"...I'd LOVE 6 cans of Mr. Krylon and 2 Gallons of Little Dutch Boy!

Since my shopping is done, all of the presents are wrapped,  and the grocery list is good to the go....I decided I was allowed to play with my Silhouette Cameo that was delivered via UPS this afternoon!! I'm working on a million projects with that already.  Thus, my much-anticipated "How our Home Rolls for Christmas Tour" is NOT ready, so I'm going to get this off of my chest...

I started blogging in September.  42 posts, 8 features, and 61 amazing followers later, here I am.  I never would have dreamed this would take off as quickly as it did.  It's not easy balancing the 9-5-ing, Coaching, Creating, Demarle-ing, Beauti-Control-ing, Parenting, Wife-ing, Daughter-ing, Santa-ing, Decorating, Photo-editing, Writing, all the while enjoying life. (Notice I didn't say cooking...although I LOVE doing it, and I'm actually not too bad at it, my husband is better!!  Don't tell him I admitted that!) It's an adventure to say the least.  But, I love every minute of it!  I feel "happy" ... when Grandma passed away in March, it's been difficult to focus my attention to things I love, and extremely difficult to enjoy the things we loved doing together.  Blogging has helped me get back to where I used to be.  Blogging has helped me enjoy Christmas this year, and I never in my wildest dreams would have imagined that possible  So,  I would just like to say, thank you.  If you're reading this, thank you; thank you for your support, thank you for inspiring me to try new things, thank you for enjoying the ride alongside me.  I'm sure no one in bloggieland is shedding tears because my How My Home Rolls for Christmas Tour wasn't posted.  It IS a priority, however....this is more of a priority...

Story time with dad...PRICELESS!  I don't want to completely shatter your dreams of seeing how we roll.  Although I'm finished taking all the pics, I still need to edit them a bit and write a lil' something so you know what you're seeing.  Hopefully tomorrow.  But for now, I'm enjoying time with the shitlins that I'll never get back!

I am so blessed!  Thank you all!  Happy Holidays!

  1. Make that 9 features! :) Just featured you at WhisperWood Cottage. Your chalkboard labels project was nominated to The DIY Club's Top 12 holiday DIY projects. So make that 10 features, because you are also featured at The DIY Club as well. :)
